Daniel D. Smith, W. Franklin Pugh, and Jonathan A. Nelson are pleased to announce that Christopher S. Woodruff has been named a partner at Smith Pugh & Nelson, PLC. He joined the law firm in 2021.
Chris holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Baylor University. While enrolled at Georgetown, Chris founded Life Raft International, Inc., a 501(c)(3) which enables churches to help refugees in Bangkok, Thailand. He also spent significant time working on immigration cases.
After law school, Chris lived in Bangkok, where he served as the director of Life Raft International and provided pro bono legal support as a volunteer attorney at Asylum Access.
A passionate advocate for children and families, Chris navigates the emotional and practical aspects of grief and complex family situations and provides insightful and tailored solutions for the administration of trusts and probate estates, business matters, and all aspects of estate planning.
